POSITION DESCRIPTION: (Provide a brief description of Essential Functions or attach Job Description):

• Inspect and prepare loads for lifting and moving

• Select appropriate rigging equipment (slings, ropes, pulleys, cranes, etc.)

• Attach loads securely to lifting devices

• Signal or direct crane operators during lifting operations

•Ensure load stability and balance before and during lifting

• Inspect rigging gear regularly for safety and compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and industry regulations

• Dismantle rigging equipment after use

POSITION QUALIFICATION: (If job description is not attached, please note minimum education required/ preferred, minimum work experience Required/ preferred, any physical requirements stated on job description, and so on).

•   SSCE or equivalent

•   Certification in rigging (e.g. basic/intermediate/advanced rigging)

•   Proven experience as a rigger in construction, oil & gas, or industrial environments

•   Knowledge of lifting techniques and load calculations

•   Familiarity with safety standards(e.g., OSHA or local safety regulations)

•   Good physical strength and stamina

•   Strong communication and team work skills
